The objective of this research was to: Determine the psychosociocultural factors of mothers related to the early stimulation of children under 1 year old who attend the growth and development program of Hospital II EsSalud Tarapoto. Period April - September 2019, the study was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, the sample consisted of 108 mothers of children under 1 year of age who attended the growth and development program of the EsSalud II Tarapoto Hospital, using as technical interview and as instruments a survey. Results: 96.3% (N = 104) of mothers who do not present any harmful habits; 65.7% (N = 71) of mothers do not present any type of family violence; 65.7% (N = 71) who have a jealous husband or controller, 90.7% (N = 98) are of cohabiting marital status, 65.7% (N = 71) of the sample have incomplete secondary, the 85.2% (N = 92) come from the jungle, 75.9% (N = 82) of the mothers are housewives, 80.6% (N = 87) have an economic income of 850 soles, 67.6% (n = 73) have four or more children, 48.1% (N = 52) have two rooms in the house where they live, 52.8% (N = 57) have a reconstituted or mixed family , 83.3% (N = 90) do not seek information on early stimulation, 86.1% (N = 93) of mothers have no knowledge about early stimulation, 75.0% (N = 81) dedicate to the stimulation of their children from 1 to 2 hours a day, 79.6% (N = 86) if they have been explained about the early stimulation of their children, 73.1% (N = 79) the early stimulations of their children started since the child begins to say their first words, 71.3% (N = 77) are not in the habit of attending the control frequently l Growth and development of their children, 47.2% (N = 51) of mothers, perform early stimulation, 56.5% (N = 61) of mothers, perform daily early stimulation, 51.9 % (N = 56) indicate that they usually take the child for a walk, the level of early stimulation of children under 1 year old who are treated in the growth and development program of Hospital II EsSalud Tarapoto is moderately adequate with 70.4% (N = 76), followed by adequate 25.9% (N = 28) and 3.7% (N = 4) are inadequate. Concluding; that to determine the relationship between psychosociocultural factors and early stimulation of children under 1 year of age, the non-parametric chi-square test read with a level of significance p <0.05 was applied, evidencing that if there is a relationship between both variables.
