This thesis project is called "THE PRECIPITATIONS AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SURFACE WATER BALANCE OF THE HYDROLOGICAL SYSTEM CONFORMED BY THE MISHQUIYACU RIVER BASIN, IN THE DISTRICT OF PILLUANA, PROVINCE OF PICOTA-SAN MARTÍN REGION", in the Faculty of Engineering Civil of the National University of San Martín - Tarapoto. It arose in favor of the need to find the behavior of the Hydrological System and its relationship with rainfall, since it is necessary to know the amount of water contributed (mainly rainfall) to the Hydrological System and also the amount that is lost (mainly evaporation). ); With the Surface Water Balance and the information that this provides us, we will initiate the Management of this Water resource that benefits the nearest population centers. The Surface Hydric Balance of the Hydrological system formed by the basin of the Misquiyacu river is made using meteorological data of precipitations from the year 1968 to the year 2017 (Period equal to 50 years), and data of maximum and minimum temperatures according to the season (According to the to the availability of these), of six meteorological stations that are: Chazuta Station, El Porvenir Station, Sauce Station, Pilluana Station, Picota Station and Shamboyacu Station, These meteorological stations are owned by the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service of Peru and its information for public use Subsequently, the geomorphological characteristics of the basin use the level curves mainly and the Arc Gis 10.0 software for data processing, then we study the precipitation and evaporation, and we apply the equation of the surface water balance, with these results we apply a good management of this water resource, contributing to the development of the nearest populations, in addition to getting practical knowledge in practice and developing the professional sense of civil engineering career.
