This study had as an objective to evaluate the educational podcast effect in the improvement of the oral expression in students of the fifth grade of secondary level, "Colegio Nacional de Iquitos" San Juan Bautista, 2014, improve its indicators pronunciation, discourse management, communicative interaction; and grammar and vocabulary. The type of research was experimental and the considerate design was quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest; replicated into two complete groups Experimental and Control. The application of educational PODCAST was executed for 8 weeks, applied in a series of 12 learning sessions. The population consisted of 238 students of fifth grade, "Colegio Nacional de Iquitos" (CNI). The sample of this research was determined on the basis of a convenience choice, which consisted of 65 students who were divided into two groups: experimental and control (33 and 32 respectively). The techniques used in data collection were: observation techniques and educational tests, whose instruments were observation sheet, pre and posttest; and rubrics. Finally, the application of the statistical test, it was observed that the score average of the oral expression is greater in Experimental Group than Control Group (14.36> 11.31, with a standard deviation of 1,834 and 612 respectively), the above could be contrasted through the hypothesis testing to oral expression and indicators pronunciation, discourse management, communicative interaction ; grammar and vocabulary, obtaining a p = 0.000 <α = 0.05 in each one . Thus it was concluded the educational PODCAST application allowed to improve significantly the oral expression in the English language in the fifth grade of secondary level, “Colegio Nacional De Iquitos”, Juan Bautista, 2014.
